Last weekend (August 19-22), my sister-in-law Karen, her husband Glen and three of the kiddos came to visit. I should have had the camera out more during the weekend, but it took me a little while to find it. (Yes, it is sad that I had to look that hard to find our camera, but I am trying to do better.) I missed pictures of Abby and Jasmine sitting in the big bay window reading books. I missed the pictures of the bonfire, when my father-in-law and my sister-in-law Tina and her kiddos were also here. I didn't get pictures of the kids making s'mores or playing croquet. But when I saw what Kevin and Timothy spent the morning doing, I HAD to find the camera.

The boys decided that a laser security system was needed to keep uninvited people (namely the girls) out of Timothy's bedroom. (And no, this is the linen closet- NOT Timothy's bedroom. Just to clarify...) A little yarn, some painter's tape, a little cooperation and a lot of imagination and ingenuity and they got the lasers installed. One less thing to worry about, and now on to the next adventure.
